Part Number: TMS320F28P650DK
Hello,
I am currently choosing a µC decdicated to develop motor drive applications and I hesitate between two series of µC :
- C2000 with the current F28P650DK (and when it will be available maybe switch to the F29H85x familly)
- Siatara with the AM263x familly
Here principal features that we aim to :

Motor control: FOC (Field Oriented Control) at 200 kHz PWM (period 5 µs).

Position feedback : BiSS‑Cx2 for absolute encoder.

Communication bus : EtherCAT with FSoE for safety.

Safety function: Hold the motor in a safe position. We want this function to be certifiable up to IEC 61508 SIL 3.

I/Os : Standard motor drive interfaces: 6 PWM outputs, 3 current sense ADCs, SPI for encoder, GPIOs, ABN for Hall sensors and incremental encoders, DC bus voltage measurement etc..
If there is better choice of µC who came in mind, I am also interested.
