Multiple ADCINT1 & 2 in PIE vector table??

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

Hi again folks

(F28027PT Piccolo ControlSTICK)

Im setting up EOC interrupts for the ADC and notice there are multiple entries for ADCINT1 and ADCINT2 in the PIE vector table at INT1.1, INT10.1 &  INT1.2, INT10.2 respectively.

Are they the same interrupts? what is the reason for this?

Thanks

  • Hi,

Yes they are the same. The reason behind... Probably TI recognized that it would be nice to have true nested interrupts but didn't have the time to implement - so they decided to have at least for the ADC the possibility to choose the interrupt priority to be either very high (INT1.1 INT1.2) or very low (INT10.1 and INT10.2)

The alternative is to use the SW_Prioritized interrupt template provided with controlSUITE where you can choose the interrupt priority for every single interrupt-  but be aware, you loose processor cycles by doing so.

    Best regards Andreas
