TMS320F2800137: Do power sequencing with PWM module

Customer ask for a power sequence device, that can pull down the power enable pin in 10s nanoseconds. I think with PWM module it can be realize, there are some questions want to clarity with you.

 1) Can I maintain PWM output state, when I disable CTR block? Since the sequencing use case do not need peridotic PWM, I only need CTR counts from 0 to 0xFFFF, then stop counting and maintain PWM output. 
2) can the OST trip can take effect when CTR is disable but PWM clock keeps? Then I can use this feature to TRIP PWM, when protection signal comes.
