Hi,

we are interested in the F29H850TU chip. We saw that it makes use of step-lock functionatlity. I would like to ask, whether there is any dependency to consider, when we want to use the controller in split-lock? Are there any non-avaiable features/functionalities or access limitations if the step-lock functionality between when CPU1 and CPU2 is disabled?

    No dependency.

    CPU2 doesn't have access to flash that is something to keep in mind otherwise no features or functionality is lost. Lockstep is mainly for functional safety, if that is not your concern you can disable lockstep and use cpu2 for functional use case.
