TMS320F28377S: Gui Composer use

Part Number: TMS320F28377S

Dear,

When I 'run' my application gui composer, dialog window open to install Code Compoer Auto Dectector (windows driver TI Agent). 

I can't keep administrator authorization then it is not possible to re-install this driver after 'run' Gui Composer application.

 

Could you give a solution to avoid re-install this driver for each new session.

    Are you running your GC application as a standalone app using locally installed GC runtime? Or are you running from the GC designer (on dev.ti.com)?

    Hello, 

    You should only be asked to install TI Cloud Agent once. If you can successfully install it then you should not be asked again. 

    There are few potential reasons why you could be asked to reinstall it. 

    a) browser extension is not installed

    b) TI Cloud Agent installation was not successful 

    c) There could be a communication issue between your GC App and TI Cloud Agent. We have come across issues with Forcepoint sw affecting this type of communication. 

    a) Could you check that you have TI Cloud Agent Bridge browser extension installed (please note Chrome/Safari/Edge are supported). 

    b) Could you check this log file and send to us (attach to forum reply) "C:\Users\YourUserID\TICloudAgent\ticloudagent_install.log"  (assuming you are using Windows, otherwise it could be in $HOME\TICloudAgent\)
