LAUNCHXL-F28379D: EPWM1B HIGH OUTPUT IN IDLE STATE

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28379D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

I AM USING LAUNCHXL-F2837D launchpad in this i want to create a complementary pwm ouput when in the IDLE state EPWM1A output is low and EPWM1B is high i want to both should low in the idle mean when PWM is off how can achive without the trip zone approch. is there any setting in the SYSCONFIG tool please help

  • Hi Kayala,

If EPWM1A and EPWM1B are coming from 1A and 1B respectively, the software force feature can be used to set the idle state to low. Please refer to the following register for more details

Are you using the dead band module in active high complementarity mode? If yes, since the deadband module comes after action qualifier you need to use trip zone module make both signals low in idle state.
