TMS320F28P650DK: HRPWM - SFO Library Source

Good afternoon,

We are utilizing the TMS320F28P650DK in an aerospace application and are leveraging the HRPWM features. As such, we will need to use the SFO library to calibrate the MEP of the HRPWM module. However, we will need to heavily scrutinize all the source code that we load onto the device per areospace standards, and as it stands we are unable to do so with the SFO library being provided as binary. Is the source of the SFO library something that could be shared with us through an NDA?

If not, is the below calibration procedure an acceptable alternative to using the SFO?

  1. Enable the SFO
  2. Sweep the temperature of the device and record the calculated MEP scale factor
  3. Generate a LUT of the calculated values and the junction temperature as recorded by the internal temperature sensor
  4. During operation, in a slow background routine, measure the internal temperature of the device and update the MEP manually via the lookup table.
