TMS320F28379D: XCP Problem

Hello,

when i try to use Third Party External Mode in Simulink C2000 (Control PMSM Loaded with Dual Motor (Dyno) - MATLAB & Simulink Example )and try to get XCP Measurements with Control Desk, i got the following Errors.

Hi,

The errors in your ControlDesk log might be caused by an allocation mismatch between the XCP Master (ControlDesk) and the XCP Slave (TMS320F28379D target).

Can you please try the following things:

1. Reduce the number of observed variables (ODT Count)

2. Check Memory Allocation in the Target (Simulink/XCP Configuration). Ensure that the memory regions allocated for XCP in your target software are large enough.

3. If you are using a high baud rate (e.g., > 1 Mbps) over a standard USB-to-Serial bridge (like an XDS100), try lowering it to 115,200 bps to rule out communication noise causing malformed commands.
