The bankmode value that I see in the BANKMODE register in the HSKP state is aways 0. It doesn't match the bankmode programmed in HSFS state.

     The reason for this is that when the device is in HS-KP state, the C29 ROM writes the BANKMODE register as BANKMODE0 (default) because in this state the C29x ROM does not have access to the MAIN and NONMAIN Flash to determine the intended BANKMODE.

    The actual Bankmode in the HSKP state is correct but the BANKMODE register is populated by the C29 ROM with the default value which is BANKMODE 0.

    C29 App/ROM does not have read/write access to its NONMAIN and MAIN Flash in HSKP state, but HSM has read write access. So, an HSM Service running on the Ram based HSMRt could be utilized for gettting the actual Bankmode from the NONMAIN Flash.
