Hello,

We are trying to find the suitable MCU for our Industrial functional safety project targetting IEC 61508 SIL3. I came across C29x Variants and found that F29P580 with 100 pin package is good fit for our requirements.

Here is the challenge. F29P580 is not available in Active list (Preview stage I guess).  F29P589 is in active state for 144 pin package only, but datasheet shows 100 pin package is available. I tried to go with F29H859 100 pin package and checked for evaluation board. I found LAUNCHXL-F29H85X is suitable but this evaluation board have F29P580 MCU. Held up with confusion.

In overall, I require F29P580 MCUs for our project. Please let us know their availability and future scope.

    The F29P58 is not currently available today but will be in the future. 

    Please reach out to local field team as this is public forum and I am unable to share this information via this public forum. 

    There will not be a launchpad for the F29P58 but development can be done using the F29H85x Launchpad and control card.
