TMS320F2812: Problem with DSP serial port usage, lost interrupts

Part Number: TMS320F2812

Hello, I used two channels of DSP's serial ports. One of the serial ports' receiving end continuously received low levels, causing the DSP to constantly enter the receiving interrupt. The other serial port's receiving end received normal data and then generated a sending interrupt. Due to the continuous receiving interrupts, the DSP might lose the sending interrupt, resulting in the inability to send the data for this period. And once the application layer loses this sending interrupt, it will not send data subsequently. Could you please explain what specific situation would cause the DSP to lose this sending interrupt? Thank you for your answer.

  • Hi Di,

Could you please provide more details on which peripheral interrupts you are referring to and the issue itself, so I can route this to the right expert? Are you seeing the interrupt flag is set as expected on the peripheral side but not in the interrupt controller?

    Best Regards,

    Aishwarya
