Hi Hang,

We do not encourage assembly coding on c29x platform. Can you explain what is the use case here? WHy is it needed.

Hi Nilabh,

My customer is pushing a specific piece of code to maximum speed, they found that the -O3 optimization would still left some optimization space, which is discussed in another thread: (+) F29H850TU: Why not parallel excution? - C2000 microcontrollers forum - C2000︎ microcontrollers - TI E2E support forums

They've successfully improve the code with 2 times of speed by assembly coding, replacing the O3 codes. Therefore they would like to go further in this direction.
