I am looking at the Technical Reference Manual, spruii0e, pg 1662 Table 15-8 GPIO Muxed Pins, and specifically at UARTA_TX and UARTA_RX. In the table, the GPIOs which have UARTA_TX, also have SCIA_TX, and the same with UARTA_RX and SCIA_RX. The SCI and the UART have separate sections dedicated to them along with their own collection of registers. So it seems that the CM-UART is in addition to the four SCIs. Is that correct?
