Hi,

I am designing a power supply as part of a school project. I was wondering if there was a way to implement current mode control for a buck converter using the TMS320F28335?

Hi Adithya - the Piccolo Series (F2802x and F2803x) devices may be better suited for this. We have an internal comparator that allows current mode control slope compensation.

Couple examples - www.biricha.com if you register, there is a great article on current mode control in the resources.

Also, take a look in controlsuite - www.controlsuite.com - there is a peak current mode control example in the Phase shifted full bridge folder.

Hi Brett,

Are there any future plans to incorporate an analog comparator into the Delfino series in order to allow current mode control?
