DMC of a DC servomotor

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

I will be using the ti part: TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT (using the Concerto card) to control a DC servomotor. I've spent sometime looking through the controlSUITE code examples, specifically the HVPM Sensored example. Unfortunately all the examples I have come across are all DMC of 3-phase motors. Is there another code example that would better suit my needs for DMC of a DC servomotor, if so could someone direct me to it?

    We currently don't have a DC servo motor control example project. As you pointed out we have focused our efforts more on three-phase motors. We did that because we assumed the control of three-phase motors to be more challenging and that control of a DC motor is relatively straightfoward. I understand when it's a DC servo it has its unique challenges. Keep us posted of this needs. As we hear about it its priority will go up on our list of solutons to be completed.

    On the other hands we do have PID and 2P2Z controllers and wide range of math functions in our DMC, DPS and math libraries. So, I am hoping you can find a lot of what you needed anyways.
