ezDSP F28335 connection/emulation error

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28335

In an attempt to connect the TI's ezDSP TMS320F28335 USB emulator the following message pops up:

“C28xx: Error connecting to the target: Error 0x80000200/-1135 Fatal Error during: OCS,  Unrecoverable emulation error”

 The documentation covers:

  • Both Windows XP 32 bit /w CCSv3.3 and Windows 7 64 bit /w CCSv5 (CCSv3.3 is not supported in Win 7 64 bit)
  • Installed r28xxez driver and confirmed with the Hardware Manager of the OS in both XP and Win 7
  • With two separate development kits each with their own processor in it

While installing and connecting the device using USB emulator, the exact same procedure as mentioned in the setting up guideline have been followed during the first attempt and the subsequent attempts.

There is a similar incident mentioned in TI's forum but the information available isn't enough.

Thanks.
