Hello everyone,
I am totally new to DSP. Now I have a project need to use 2407 to control SCR with PWM. I am trying to find sample codes to set up initialization, etc.
Does anyone can provide kind help/suggestion, please?
Thank you very much!

The 'LF2407 is obsolete and the 'LF2407A is not recommended for new designs. So unless there is a good reason to choose the LF2407 (already have hardware, have a history of using it, etc) I would recommend looking at a different C2000 MCU. I would recommend the TMS320F28027 or TMS320F28069 as alternatives.
All of the 'F28027 and 'F28069 example projects can be found within controlSUITE (http://www.ti.com/controlsuite).
If you want to go with the 'LF2407A even though it is not recommended for new designs, some example projects for it can be found at http://www.ti.com/general/docs/litabsmultiplefilelist.tsp?literatureNumber=spra755a
Thank you,
Brett
Hello,
I have an TMS320LF2407A DSP trainer kit our lab and I have to work with it.
Is it possible to program TMS320LF2407A without Code Composer, because I have version5 of this software but it doesn't support 2407 and I can't find version3.1.
Thank You,
Vikas
Hi Vikas,
You can use TI's Uniflash software. Also please post new queries as new posts.

Gautam
Vikas,
According to the following page you need CCS3.3 with SR12:
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Development_Tool_Versions_for_C2000_Support#Code_Composer_Studio
Assuming that you are a student, I'd recommend trying to work with (or have your professor work with) univ@ti.com as described below:
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS#Code_Composer_Studio_Version_3_Downloads
(as above, I'd recommend moving to a newer device if it becomes possible; however, I understand the necessity to work with tools that are already bought :) )
Thank you,
Brett
