Hi,

I've designed a state space based speed controller in Matlab and need to check the same with the DRV8312-C2-kit. Pls let me know how to program / test the Matlab code on the onboard controller.

I've used the Insta spin software and it allows only Kp and Ki controller modifications. Can the same Insta spin software be used for testing state space models

I will forward along to our local Matlab expert, but yes, the InstaSPIN-BLDC library is the sensorless commutation engine. It doesn't care which type of control algorithm is feeding the duty cycle reference.

I am planning to do something similar. I have the DRV8312EVM Kit and would like to control the motor from Matlab or Simulink.

Srivatsa, could you setup your system with matlab?

Or what would be the best way for me to start with?
