concerto gpio core select

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: F28M35H52C

If you set  gpio8 to core select M in one statement and in a later statement set the whole portB it to core select C will the second statement change the configuration of the whole port including gpio8? What happens if you toggle an output from  core that doesn't have control? will it just not work?

My question is can you damage a gpio if you configure it improperly and read or write to it from the other core.

How warm would you expect the F28M35H52C to run when using a dual example such as RT-SineFIRFFT?  Would it feel hot to the touch or merely warm?

Thanks in advance cause I'm having trouble with outputs and it's running very hot.
