Hi,
I have F28069 experimental kit and also F28035 ISO DIMM Rev1.3 control card.
Could I replace the F28069 control card with F28035 ISO control card in the docking station USB-EMU R3?.
If yes how to connect to the PC i.e., both the docking station and the control card have the usb ports?.
Pl suggest.
thx
indiantuktuk,
You can use the F28035 ISO DIMM cCARD on the Docking Station motherboard. You'll have to use the xds100v1 emulator that resides on the controlCARD.
If you look at the schematics in controlSUITE, you'll see that the emulation logic of the '035 ISO cCARD will be powered by the USB input, while the required 3.3V to power the MCU will be delivered by the Docking Station motherboard. Also notice that in the schematics the MCU's emulation pins to not get routed through the DIMM connector and instead go through the isolation boundary and to the on-card emulator.
Thank you,
Brett
Thanks Brett.
I could say I need to connect both the USB ports to the PC and the emulation is done thru the ISO card port. Am I right?.
thx
