moving to piccolo 28035

Hi,

 

We are thinking of moving to piccolo 28035 (from 2808) and also we would like to start using an operating system (we had our own sort-of OS).

  1. Are SYS\BIOS DSP-BIOS the only possibilities for this device?
  2. Any advantage of using DSP BIOS? (I understand SYS BIOS is just a continuation of DSP BIOS, correct?)
  3. Any other ideas you have before we make this step?
