UART Problem with Delfino Exp.Kit TMSC28346

Hello,

I'm working with Delfino DIM168 Exp.Kit C28346 and with SIMULINK (Embedded Coder).

Everything works fine (ePWM, eQEP) but now i would like to send commands with HTerm(Hyperterminal Software) to the Target.

So i tick the VCP box in the Hardware Preferences. Virtual Port COM4 appears in Hardware Preferences and in HTerm.

After compiling I can't Connect to COM4.

Error: COM4 is blocked.

I hope you can help me.

MATLAB Version 7.13.0.564 (R2011b)

Code Composer Version: CCSv3.3 (XDS100v1)

[C2834x needs XDS100v2 but is not supported for CCSv3.3 is that right? Is there a Problem ? The other peripherals work fine with Simulink !]

I tested the secound VCP but it dont works to ?

And the isolated UART Port sends incorrect Messages ?

Hello all,

Did you connect TX_ISO and RX_ISO correctly to your PC ? (please see your controlCard and experimenter kit schematic to check which pins that can be connected for TX_ISO and RX_ISO).

I think the COM number should be the one from your PC serial port (not the one that appeared from emulator).
