CAN Bus is in stuck-to-dominant bus error state

I am working on CAN protocol on TMS320F2812 processot. CAN bus is in stuck-to-dominant bus error state. Could anybody tell me how to bring the CAN out of this error state to Idle state ?

    You should be able to set the CCR bit and wait till CCE is set.  This will take you to bus off.  Then you can clear the CCR bit and when the bus is idle, the CAN controller will go back on the bus.

    Do you have a transceiver connected to CAN TX and RX and proper termination on your CAN bus?  This is critical for proper CAN operation.
