Hi,

What is the maximum case temperature (the plastic case on the top of the device) for our device (TMS320F28334ZHHA)? It mentioned 85c but as an environmental and not case temperature.

Uri,

Your answer will depend to a large extent on PCB layout and footprint.

See section 6.4.3 (Thermal Design Considerations) of the device datasheet (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tms320f28334.pdf). Especially look at SPRA943.
