Load Program Error

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE, TMS320F28027

Hi,

I've got a problem with loading a release-version of my software into the DSP.

I use the F28035 with CCS Version: 5.2.0.00069.

My project is set to release, and when I press the "Debug" / Run Button, it gives me the following popup:

Launching Debug Session

Load Program Error.

Line 1: Mismatched char: 'EOF'

With previous projects I've never seen this window.

the project is build and an .out-file is created, so I can still Flash my software using Flashburn, but this looks like a bug to me.

Or can there be errors in my code? Is there a solution to this?

Kind regards,

Heiny

  • If you are using a sample project from TI, then I would check the build settings in the "release" build configuration.  We have a number of old projects that have a 'release' that is not setup - we have been removing this configuration in our latest examples.

Does it work if you use the 'debug' configuration?

  • I can't remember if I took a sample project as a basis for my work, but I think I started a new project.

In debug mode I can flash the DSP, so that the release doesn't work must be something with the settings then I suppose.

What can I do to make the release work? what settings do I have to change in the release settings?

What does the error mean anyway? Line 1: Mismatched char: 'EOF'? does it say something about a project file, or the .OUT file? and what does it mean?

    Regards,

  • hi, could you please help me?

    i am using a F28027 launch-pad in CCS6.

until today i used to build and debug the labs from motorware project labs.

but today a error created before debuging like the pic below.

also i tested the connection by launching TMS320F28027_xds100v2.ccxml in target configuration and the result was fine as seen in the pic below.

how could i solve this problem?

is it possible that the F28027 had been damaged?

    thaks.
