CCS 3.3: unable to find an appropriate the registry key

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CCSTUDIO

Hello,

We have a Signum JTAGjet-C2000 Emulator. All drivers of this jtag are installed to C:\CCStudio_v3.3\drivers folder. But after setuping CSS to use this JTAGjet and running CSS I always have the message "Unable to find an appropriate the registry key for TMS320C28XX. Target driver C:\CCStudio_v3.3\drivers\Signum_JTAGjet_C28xx.drv".

How to register this driver and run CCS correctly? Is it possible to do manual?

(of course, I will contact also Signum, but it is interested to know why CCS does not find the driver)

  • Do you have the full version of CCS 3.3 or the version that comes with eZdsp kits? The version of CCS that comes with the kits will not work with external emulators.

If you have the full version and are running into this issue, you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling both CCS and the Signum JTAGjet drivers as it seems that something is corrupted or incomplete in the installation.

    Hi there

I am having the same problem and have no budget to provide CCSV3. is there any way just to modify the ezdsp bundled Code Composer version (V3 Platinum)  to be able to work with XDS510 USB emulator?

    Thanks,
