Hello,

I have both jumpers in their correct positions!

The device shows up as unknown in device manager. When I install the specific driver from controlSUITE (v140) i get the following window.

Is there a driver for my OS (win 7 64)? I'm really in a pickle now that this driver is not working is there another way to interact with the micro usb port? I'm trying to map the comm. from the usb to an ssi peripheral.

Hi,

Make sure you rebuild the usblib: Load the usblib project in CCS and rebuild, then rebuild the usb_serial-example.

The driver information (INF) file for Win7 can be found in C:\TI\controlSUITE\device_support\f28m35x\v140\MWare\windows_drivers. Point to the .INF file when prompted or follow the link below to add driver (require restart):

Also, check to make sure you have the latest version of controlSUITE and using the correct micro usb cable.

Hi Derek,

I'm having a problem with the windows 7 driver for usb_dev_serial, when I look at the driver properties, it reports "This device cannot start (Code 10)". I installed it using the hardware wizard as your link above suggested. Do you have any other ideas please?
