Does anybody know if there are plans to add an Eclipse integration for Code Composer Studio?

The next release of CCS v4 will be Eclipse based. The current schedule for this release is around end of 2Q 2009.

Does that mean that CCS, compiler, assembler, linker and so on will be available for other platforms than MS Windows?

CCS v4 will support Windows XP and Linux operating systems.

Is there an official web-site for the development of the Eclipse integration? I have created a very basic C2000 plugin and would be interested in participating in the effort.

The set of simulators and emulators that will be supported on Linux is still TBD. We probably won't have a C28x sim on Linux.

I saw the release of CCS 4 but the download seems only for Windows. Is still on track a Linux version?

The current release is still windows only. We don't have a good date yet for the start of the Linux beta.
