F28035 Temperature Spec

Hi,

Do you know when / if a -40C to 125C temperatuere spec F28035 will be available.

Cheers,

Oz

  • Oz,

Both F28035 devices available for sampling (TMX320F28035PNT and TMX320F28035PAGT) are -40 to 105C qualified. When Piccolo goes into full production, all devices will be spec'ed for -40C.

  • Hi,

When will the 125 degree Celsius rated TMS320F28035PAGS be available for samples and in full production?

    Cheers,

  • Ozan,

We do not typically sample 125C pre-prouduction (TMX) silicon, though most of the silicon will probably work at 125C for prototyping.  TMX silicon is not fully screened nor guaranteed.

Production shipments begin in mid Februrary.  Order entry is open on these devices now and carries a 20-25 week typical lead-time.  The T devices are typically more popular so these variants are scheduled to be available first.  I expect first S devices to be available for shipment in June/July.

  • Thanks for the information Chris.

I was experiencing some problems at elevated temperatures and wanted to rule out the micro as the problem. However it turns out to be another chip on board.

It is however good to know S devices will be available for shipment soon as we are getting close to the production  phase.

    Cheers,

    Oz
