Matlab/Simulink automatic Codegenaration also works for Piccolo MCU's?

Hi alls,

I am using the toolchain Matlab/Simulink,Realtime Workshop with Target Support Package TC2 to generate automatic C-Code for the TMS320F2808 everything works fine so far . Now i want to migrate to the Piccolo family. Does anybody know if my auto-generated code for the F2808 will work on Piccolo. Or if Mathworks is planning to upgrade the Target Package for Piccolo MCU's. Is there even an "how to migrate from F2808 to Piccolo F280xx"?

Migrating to Piccolo will generally require
-changes in how the ADC is configured and triggered
-changes in initialization of the on-chip crystal, LDO
-changes in PWM+peripheral timings since the Piccolo MCU runs at 60MHz

The document sprab40.pdf (http://focus.ti.com/mcu/docs/mcusupporttechdocsc.tsp?sectionId=96&tabId=1502&abstractName=sprab40) goes over this process in some detail.

I believe that Mathworks is planning on creating a target package for Piccolo, but I am unsure of its schedule. Perhaps someone else can better respond.

I found this in the prerelease 2009b Notes from the Mathworks:

Target Support Package 4.0
• Support for TI C6747 Starter Kit
• Support for TI Piccolo series of processors (C2802x)
• New device driver blocks for Analog Devices BF537 EZ-Kit Lite, including
UART and ADC
• New device driver blocks for TI C5510DSK, including UART, ADC, and
DAC

The target for C2000 will now support piccolo series of processors from 9b release. Anyone already with this product can try out the pre-release. Feel free to forward your comments to me: firstname.lastname @ mathworks.com.
