I set my CCS IDE to use in TMS320f28335 device simulator mode.
sprintf function is giving strange results when compiled with this setup and tested in this simulator mode.
No issues if done for TMS320f2812 device simulator.
Checked the map file, seems there is size difference between 2812 and 28335 printf/sprintf library code.
