TMS320F28035-7 segment LED interfacing

Hi,

 We are in the process of using TMS320F28035 in an application wherein we need to interface the same with 7 segment LED to display some of the configuration/ process parameters. Please let me know of any relevant application notes/ do's and dont's/ sample codes for the same. I was planning to use 74LS47 as interface for 7 segment LED.
