I have started working with TMDSPLCKT-V3 , power line communication unit. I am using the G3 standard examples package. I am trying to understand two project examples : PHY Example Project and G3 ADP Example Project for F28069. However, I do not understand how are they performing differently in power line communication application? In document it was mentioned the ADP example is for DC application. Does it mean if my application is DC and not ac, I have to use this example for PLC and not the PHY example?
Actually, I am only planning to turn on and off a rely over DC line. That is, I can send one byte from TMDSPLCKT-V3 module 1 to module 2. However, I could not find where the input data packet is filled in those examples.
I send an email to plc_support@list.ti.com , 7 days ago and they told me they will come back to me in 48 hours. However, I have not heard from them yet.
