Hi,
I was trying to familiarize myself with the Flash programmer tool in CCS. I simply tried to do the frequency test (as it is recommended in the flash programming tool help file) and obtained the following error message:
Flash API error #-1:
Failure reading Flash API error return value from target.
What does this mean?
My target board is the eZdsp TMS320F28335 from Spectrum Digital. I use the CCS 3.3 that came with the eZdsp evaluation board.
The flash programming utility loaded is the one that came with the eZdsp boards (i.e. C:\CCStudio_v3.3\plugins\Flash28xx\Algorithms\28335\FlashAPIInterface28335V1_01.out).
FYI, this board works fine when used for debugging my project with the eZdsp builtin emulator.
