vector control using TMS320f2812

Hi,

I have recently bought a TMS320f2812 starter kit and using it to learn vector control of three phase induction motor.

does anyone here got experience in this field?it would be preferred if you are willing to tell me which specific motor and optical speed sensor you choose  in your reference design since I have difficulty in choosing these two componets.
