eZdsp F28335 and enclosed Code Composer

I am currently using eZdsp F28335 and enclosed Code Composer v3.3. Everything is working OK.

Now I need  debug the same code to my own prototyping board, using XDS510USB emulator from SpectrumDigital.

Question is - need I purchase new  Code Composer v3.3, or my current CC (which was enclosed together with eZdsp) will support XDS510USB emulator?

Additional I have Code Composer v3.1, purchased few years ago, but, as I suppose, it dosn't support F28335 family?

  • The eZdsp-Kits are intended for evaluation purposes, that's why the version of Code Composer Studio that comes with them, has a few limitations.

One of them is that it will only work with the ezdsp-boards, so even drivers for external emulators will take no effect.

If you have your own board and want to use an external emulator (like SD XDS510USB), you will definately need a full version of CCS (TMDSCCS2000-1).
