How to read digial I/O and analog ports in TMS320F2812

Hi,

I am new to TMS320F2812 and need to know how can I read the digital I/O ports and also the analog input ports. I tried looking into examples provided by Code Composer but didn't get this info or would get more more complex info like streaming from a port. I just need simple read from digital input port (like GPIO) and analog input.
