I2C operation in repeat mode

Hi,

I have a doubt about I2C operation. When I configure the I2C to operated in repeat mode, first I have to configure the I2CCNT register and later I the datas to transmit will be load in the I2CDXR register. The doubt is: Do I have to put a time delay betwen two datas to transmit or Can I put the datas like I´m operating a FIFO?
