Does anyone have any advice on how to control a TFT LCD with no dedicated controller?   We are currently using the TMS320F28335 to control the TFT but are having issues getting it to function correctly.  We think its due to timing of the Hsync, Vsync, and Dot Clock (front porch, back porch, etc.).   The TFT datasheet is extremely vague so we do not have the exact specifications for the timings listed above (Newhaven TFT LCD, NO Controller).  Has anyone had any experience with doing this and can point me in the right direction?

    I have had great success using the SSD1963, its made by solomun or something like that, but I would like to find a TI chip that does the same thing. SSD1963 is extremely fast and cheap, does TI have a chip that does the same thing with comparable specs?
