Dear Sir,

Please clarify the following in connection with the MPPT controller and the solar inverter:

1. Would it be possible to write our own MPPT algorithm and implement it on the kit?

2. If yes, the on what platform?

3. What kind of flexibility is provided in inverter operation? Software set points, PID loops etc. Are they programmable?

4. Can we have an add-on for exporting power to grid?

    Which specific kit are you looking at? we have two kits the low voltage solar explorer and the high voltage solar developers,

    1. Yes the MPPT algorithm can be re designed, the entire software is available in open source format

    2. The kits come with two options one with Piccolo (F2803x) and Concerto(F28M35x) for which the software is supported in controlsuite, however the board follows a control card concept and you can use any device from the C2000 family to work with this board.

    3. The code is available in open source format you can change it the way you like it in your application.

    4. Yes the kits are capable to feed power into the grid,
