SPI Boot on Piccolo 28069

Hi,

I am reading through the Boot ROM Manual in the Piccolo 2806x Technical Reference Manual (SPUH18C). On page 222 and 223 I miss clear information about what happens when the key value is invalid. The description of step 5 on page 222 ends with an incomplete sentence. The figure 2-20 shows that in case of an invalid key value a jump to flash is done.

My question: will the SPI boot function in the case of an invalid key value jump to address 0x3F 7FF6 like it is done when OTP_KEY and/or OTP_BMODE are invalid? I assume the answer is yes because on other 28xx(x) devices this is the case, but can anyone confirm?

Thanks in advance

Malte
