Hello friends, I'm planning to purchase a complete DSP system. I am a beginner in this field.My application involves implementation of induction motor control schemes like Direct Torque Control (DTC), Field Oriented Control (FOC) and other such schemes using a DSP processor. I have read that TI dsps like TMS320F2407 and others of this series can be used for motion control but I think these DSPs are obsolete. Can anybody please suggest me the alternatives for my application. Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
