    On the F28335 product page (http://www.ti.com/product/tms320f28335) the SPI documentation is in a separate SPI user guide (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sprueu3a/sprueu3a.pdf) under the user guide heading.  

    This is different from our newer devices, for which all of the information is contained the datasheet + TRM.
