My system is basically a 6KW multiple output DC power supply(input 310V) , the system is divided into power card(5 different card providing 6KV power & 1 emi/emc card) and control card( 1 card ,this card has the controller) ,tms320f2812 implements the protection function like under,over voltage/current . This control card is electrically and physically isolated from rest of the power card. The current and voltage is monitored through hall sensor and opto coupler placed on power card.All these signals(opto &hall o/p) are brought to control card through connectors(stackable euro connector).The CONTROL card performs all its function when it is placed away from power card( the cpu card is attached by 50 cm patch cable). but when they are integrated( patch cable remover and connected directly to the connector) and power card is powered with minimum load less than 200 W ,the control card hangs immediately , this hanging may happen immediately or after some time with load.
After some tests I found this hanging and reset of controller happens when one of the card is switched on(only one card causes problem) and loaded(this card provides the least power of all cards1/25th of total power).
my controller has a external crystal (32Mhz citizen crystal) and used recommended LDO for power sequencing. control card has peripheral like Ethernet controller ,ADC .
I want to know what could have happened in the controller that made it stop(like some pin becoming due to high radiation etc ).
