PLL and System Clock out settings in TMS320F28335

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28335

Hi,

I am using TMS320F28335 in CCS5.2 with XDS100V2.0 and XDS510 USB Emulator.

I ma using DSP2833x_SysCtrl.c and DSP2833x_Examples.h files in my project which are provided by TI.

I configured my External interface for Zone0 with 75Mhz as clock out and XTIMCLK is 75MHZ. My system clock is 150MHz.

I am using following parameters in DSP2833x_SysCtrl.c

 XintfRegs.XINTCNF2.bit.XTIMCLK = 1;
   /* Buffer up to 3 writes */
   XintfRegs.XINTCNF2.bit.WRBUFF = 3;
   // XCLKOUT = XTIMCLK
   XintfRegs.XINTCNF2.bit.CLKMODE = 0;
   // Enable XCLKOUT
   XintfRegs.XINTCNF2.bit.CLKOFF = 0;

I changed  XintfRegs.XINTCNF2.bit.XTIMCLK = 0; and runned my code.

After that I revert back to XINTCNF2.bit.XTIMCLK = 1 but clock out changed to 37.5Mhz.

Later I changed my System clock to 75Mhz by suing the PLL. I runed the code now clock out is 18.5Mhz.

Now I changed system clock to 150Mhz. Now I ma getting clock out as 7.5Mhz.

After doing above changes my system clock changed to 7.5MHz. It is not coming to 150MHz.

Please go through attachment for the files which I am using.

Thanks & Regards,

Bhanu Prakash Villuri
