Prime Base Node with TMDSPLCKIT-V3

Hi TI Community,

I'm working with the TMDSPLCKIT-V3 and i don't understand how i can make a Base Node on LLC Layer!

I want to establish a PRIME network with a base node and several service nodeson LLC Layer!

My question is: It's even possible or should i use G3 ADP Layer? And if it's possible, how?

    Hi Michael, 

    To create PRIME network, you will need to have another TI platform (http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/apps/smartgrid/gridinfrastructure/overview.page) for base node solution. The V3 kit works as service node only. 

    For G3, we have mini-concentrator solution working on V3 kit. The only limitation is that the mini-concentrator can supports 30 nodes only. 

    You can find all the f/w for G3 and PRIME from www.ti.com/plc.
