F28M35x USB Serial Example Device Driver won't install

Hi,

I'm trying to use the usb_dev_serial_M3 example from V106 Controlsuite for the m35x on my dev kit.  I can run the program, but windows sees an unknown device with no driver.  I hasve tried to install the USB_Serial inf as shown in the comments in the .c file for theproject, but windows7 and windows XP ( on two different machines) tells me the driver doesn't match the hardware.  How do I get the driver to load so I can use the USB device?

    Hi Mike,

    Please Do the following Checks,

    1. Check whether the Driver software is in the Control Suite Folder( C:\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\f28m35x\v160\MWare\windows_drivers\usb_dev_serial.inf)

    2. Go to Device Manager. It Shows Unknown Device. Right Click in that, Choose the "Update Driver Software install".

    3.  Select this option "Browse from my computer Driver software"

    4. Choose the above Path( C:\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\f28m35x\v160\MWare\windows_drivers )

    5. Select "Install anyway" option to install the driver.
