XINTF interface on 28335

I have two 28335 devices (say A and B) in a single system and need to share information between them at a high speed. Can the XINTF interface be used for this purpose? Is there a slave mode on the XINTF interface? i.e use A in master mode and B is slave mode so that A can read and write to B's RAM?

If not, how else can we share information between the two processors?

In the system, some analog inputs are connected to A and some to B. B has to pass the ADC readings to A.

Any ideas?

XINTF is a master port only. You cannot directly connect two XINTF together. You would need to use external RAM, and build a shared memory system with some sort of handshaking or control arbitration.

You don't say what your data transfer rate requirements are. I'd suggest using a serial port (e.g. SPI) if it is fast enough.

Thanks for the post - I too was stuck because XINTF does not have a master/slave mode (some other micro-controllers do!).

We are planning to use 2x SPI, 32 bit. Any suggestions as to how we can maximize this throughput?
