QEP strobe question

On the F28069, can I enable the QEP peripheral - but only use QEPA, QEPB and QEPI and have the strobe QEPS set as a regular GPIO?

Not sure if I understood you correctly but I think the anwser is yes.

Yes, this would be fine.

In this case, setting the QEPS as a regular GPIO is the same as not-connecting the QEPS signal. The QEP will work fine.
