F28069 SCI max baud rate

Hi,

I didn't find the maximum baud rate of the SCI of F28069 in its technical manual.

I tried the example sci_echoback with different baud rates. I wrote a simple windows forms application to see the received words.

It works fine when BRR = 0 and LSPCLK = 22.5MHz (a quarter of the system clock), Baud rate is about 1.4Mbps.

However, it doesn't work when BRR = 0 and LSPCLK = 45MHz or 90 MHz.

Does this mean that LSPCLK has to be 1/4 of the system clock? Or is there any other reason to explain this?

I just tried BRR=3 and LSPCLK = 45MHz, in this case, baud rate is about 1.4Mbps. It worked.

So I assume this is not the problem of LSPCLK, but the SCI has a limitation though I don't what the limitation is.
